I put up vinyl on the kumquat house!

SUGI BEE GARDEN has established six locations for its own kumquat houses in the Kita Ward of Kumamoto City.

At Kinkan House, every year at this time, we carry out the work of "covering with vinyl."
This year, it was done by all the beekeeping department staff starting from 6 AM.

First, we carefully cover each structure with plastic and temporarily secure it with string (Maika line).
After finishing the plastic covering on all houses, we strongly tie the temporarily secured string (Maika line) to the pipes of the houses to fix it.

This task, where staff members communicate and work in sync,
is essential for teamwork in vinyl covering.

The kumquat harvest usually starts around the end of January.
It will be a little while until the harvest, but we will cultivate them with care so that we can deliver delicious kumquats this year as well!
