Aso Honeybee Farm has relocated and opened!

"Aso Honey Farm," which had been closed due to the impact of the earthquake last November, has now relocated to the Kosugi Resort in Otokihime, Aso City, and will officially reopen on Wednesday, July 15th!

The old Aso Mitsubachi Farm was established in 1986 and opened as the second store among the 75 directly operated stores nationwide. Over the years, it has fostered many connections with customers and has been well-loved by the local community. Additionally, it has often been used as a place for employee training, making it an important location for employees to learn and grow.

Despite suffering significant damage from the Kumamoto earthquake in 2016, we managed to repair our buildings and continue operations. However, due to the earthquake last November, our buildings were once again damaged, making it difficult to continue business. We have kept you all worried for a long time, but thanks to your warm support and encouragement, we are now able to resume operations at a new location!

We look forward to many new encounters at the newly transformed Aso Mitsubachi Farm. With gratitude to everyone who has supported us so far, we will welcome you to our new store with a more comfortable space and heartfelt hospitality.

A store filled with a sense of liberation surrounded by nature
Rich nature unique to Aso spreads around the store, providing a sense of openness. The interior is also a spacious area that rivals the grandeur of Aso's nature, allowing you to enjoy shopping comfortably.

After a leisurely time in Aso
please enjoy a relaxed moment with popular soft serve ice cream or drinks in hand, while feeling the pleasant nature of Aso.

The more you know, the more delicious it is
We also display tools such as beehives and smokers used in beekeeping, as well as bee brushes, allowing you to feel the world of beekeeping that you don't often get to see up close. It's a space where not only shopping but also seeing, learning, and enjoying can be done, making it a place where families, friends, and even individuals can easily drop by.
※Smoker: A tool used to calm bees by producing smoke when inspecting beehives or harvesting honey
※Bee brush: A tool used to gently brush bees off frames and combs without harming them

The entire staff is sincerely looking forward to meeting everyone at the newly transformed Aso Honeybee Farm!
