This time, we will introduce the beeswax candle-making experience held on July 21 (Tuesday) at the Station Court on the 1st floor of mozo Wonder City in Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture.

This workshop, held as part of the SUMMER SCHOOL organized by Mozo Wonder City, is aimed at children aged 5 and elementary school students, along with their parents.

The staff of SUGI BEE GARDEN mozo Wonder City Store will be the teachers, and the event will involve making bear motif candles using beeswax sheets, as well as enjoying tastings of SUGI BEE GARDEN products.

On the day, there were three sessions (11:00, 13:30, 15:30), with a total of 40 participants.
Since it was the day after a three-day weekend, there was a somewhat relaxed atmosphere.
Starting with the two groups that arrived right after opening, families who participated with their parents were working on their tasks at a leisurely pace.

At the venue, there were scenes of cutting and rolling beeswax sheets while listening to the staff's explanations.
Some children were also seen freely arranging with the leftover sheets.

The joy of rolling sheets and the voices of surprise at the texture felt for the first time can be heard from various places.

At the tasting corner, many children were trying domestic honeycomb honey for the first time, and smiles spread as they exclaimed, 'It's sweet and delicious!'

Participants shared their thoughts, saying,
"It was fun to roll" "I was happy to make it with my mom" "The sheet looked hard to cut, but I was surprised it cut easily" "The texture of the beeswax was interesting".

From the staff in charge on that day, we heard the feedback: "Participants enjoyed making candles, showed us their completed works, and we could see smiles as they said it was delicious during the tasting! We also had a great time."

The time spent moving hands together as a parent and child seems to have become a special moment that is hard to experience in daily life!
