The long-awaited lotus nectar harvesting has begun!

The harvesting of nectar from milk vetch flowers finally began in mid-April.

The honey harvesting season at SUGI BEE GARDEN begins with the harvesting of lotus honey.

(Cherry blossoms in Mashiki Town, Kamimashiki District, Kumamoto City)

SUGI BEE GARDEN 's domestically produced lotus honey is harvested from various locations in Kumamoto Prefecture.

During the day the bees were flying about happily.

This year's milk vetch is blooming better than last year, and thanks to the good weather, it has produced lots of nectar.

I'm getting excited.

When you peel off the nectar cap, the honey comes gushing out.

Milk vetch honey is characterized by its clear color.

The beekeeping club members seemed pleased, saying that this year the honey is abundant and it looks like they will be able to harvest high-quality lotus flower honey.

SUGI BEE GARDEN 's lotus honey has many fans who look forward to its new year's taste.

I can't wait for everyone to try it soon.

(While harvesting, we discovered bees sticking their heads into the comb to suck honey. So cute!)
