Why not try plum work?

The green plums grown in our own plum orchard in Kumamoto Prefecture are currently in the middle of harvest.

It was named "Houbai" (bee plum) because it is pollinated by honeybees.

Thanks to the help of honeybees for pollination, the plums grow into high-quality plums with dense flesh.

I made honey-pickled plums using bee plums, which are in season now.

The process is very simple, so even those who are new to plum work can make it easily.

- How to make -

First, wash the green plums carefully and wipe off the water.

Remove the stems of the plums with a bamboo skewer.

Make about four vertical cuts and place into a boiling glass container.

Mix the honey and apple cider vinegar thoroughly and pour into a container.

_________

For 500g of plums

・1,000g honey

・90g apple cider vinegar

_________

*This time we used SUGI BEE GARDEN 's "Healthy Honey" and "Apple Cider Vinegar."

Just store it in a cool place out of direct sunlight, open the lid once a day and mix well.

The pickled plums will be ready in about a month.

When I opened the lid two days after pickling, a refreshing plum scent wafted out.

It will be a while before it is complete, but you will be able to enjoy the gradually changing appearance and scent of the plums every day.

Why not try some "plum work" using green plums, which are in season now?
