On March 16th, a results presentation was held for the "UX Acceleration Program 2022," a new business creation program sponsored by Kumamoto Prefecture.
This program started in July of last year, and after much discussion about the know-how SUGI BEE GARDEN has cultivated to date and the challenges that lie ahead, they arrived at two themes.
It's the development of aroma beehives.
The idea is to use scent to protect bees from predators. If this business is successful, it will lead to a stable increase in bees, leading to a stable supply of honey. Furthermore, the expansion of pollination by bees will greatly contribute to agricultural support. This will be carried out in collaboration with Reborn Co., Ltd. Reborn is a startup company that offers comprehensive fragrance products based on the philosophy of "eliminating vague odors."
The second theme is the promotion of the "Honey Education Program."
Mitsuiku is a coined word that comes from our desire to support the lifelong health of families, from children to adults, through the provision of honey products. We aim to develop products and services that allow people of all ages to learn about their bodies and health by eating honey. This will be promoted in collaboration with Shoku no Okusuri Co., Ltd.
SUGI BEE GARDEN is embarking on a new challenge in the fields of beekeeping and health, which are its roots.
