The Kotohira store is located near the entrance to the main approach to Konpira Shrine, and the bright, modern interior with a white base is popular among the old townscape. Since the Edo period, it has been said that people should visit Konpira at least once in their lifetime, and many believers come from far away. It is the largest tourist spot in Kagawa Prefecture, combining faith and tourism. Kotohira Shrine, popularly known as Konpira-san, is located on the middle slope of Mount Kotohira (Zouzu-yama), and there are 785 stone steps to the main shrine and 1,368 stone steps to the inner shrine. All the stone steps and stone pavement were donated by the believers of Konpira-san. Please visit Konpira-san once. Kagawa Prefecture also has delicious "Sanuki udon". Udon eating tours are also popular, so please come and visit Kotohira. All the staff are looking forward to seeing you.
