Fukuoka Airport underwent a major renovation in 2018 and is located in the city center, about 5 minutes by subway from Hakata Station, making it a highly convenient airport. The airport is a commercial facility that even non-flyers will want to visit, with souvenir shops, restaurants, an observation deck, a gym, and more.
