Work experience/internship

We support the young people who will lead the future.

Internship at SUGI BEE GARDEN
SUGI BEE GARDEN 's internship program began in 2008.
Initially, training was centered on working in factories and stores, but as the company has been actively expanding its beekeeping and store operations overseas, the scope of the internship content has expanded.
Currently, we sell our products at our own stores and events overseas, and also offer hands-on beekeeping training.
We will continue to support the challenges faced by students who will lead the future of Kumamoto, as well as students who will be active worldwide.
*We are currently suspending acceptance due to the effects of the coronavirus.

Factory training for junior high school students

Workplace experience for local junior high school students. As they are at a stage where they are thinking about their future, this is a training opportunity for them to learn not only practical skills, but also basic business manners such as reporting, contacting, and consulting, and how to think as a member of society.

Beekeeping experience for high school students

On-site beekeeping training in Amakusa with the beekeeping club. We convey the difficulties and rewards of working with nature and living creatures. Even though it is training, the eyes of the trainees as they handle the honeybees are very serious. This is a training that can only be found at a beekeeping company.

Accepting overseas university students to our headquarters

This is an internship for international students in Kumamoto Prefecture and university students living overseas. They will utilize their native language skills to work in departments dealing with overseas customers at the head office and in directly managed stores. This will also help them improve their Japanese and learn about Japanese culture.

From Kumamoto to the world.
We support the global challenges of students who are active on a global scale.

Sales training at overseas directly managed stores

He completed sales training for about a month at the SOGO Causeway Bay store in Hong Kong. At the post-training session, he said, "At first, I thought that language ability was the most important thing in sales, but I learned that it's important to get customers to like you because of your personality. This experience has given me the opportunity to think more deeply about my future."

Experience the world's largest food event, Hong Kong's "Food Expo"

Every year, 12 university students from Kumamoto Prefecture undergo sales training at the Food Expo, Asia's largest food trade fair, which is held in Hong Kong in August. At first, the students were confused by the language difference and the large number of people, but with each passing day, they became able to explain the products in their own words and naturally smiled while serving customers.
