Sales Business Headquarters Store Sales Staff
Akari Tanaka (joined the company in 2014)

"We mainly sell our products at the storefront. Even though some customers eat honey regularly, there are some who don't know much about honey, so we listen to what they have to say and provide detailed explanations, creating a welcoming environment for customers and SUGI BEE GARDEN.
The store I work at is directly managed and is a tenant in a commercial facility, so I also have to report to the facility headquarters and handle discounts for weekend events, which are tasks that other stores don't have.

In my previous job, I was in sales in a different industry. Since it was common for manufacturers and sales to be separate, I was very attracted to SUGI BEE GARDEN and agriculture, as is typical of a sixth-industry company. Since I was in the inbound department, which handled calls from customers of different ages and situations, I tried to respond cheerfully and sincerely. After working at the call center for about seven years, I decided to relocate outside the prefecture, but I wanted to continue working, so I consulted with my boss and agreed to continue working as a sales staff member in my new location.

Although the work of a communicator and a store is essentially the same, I felt that the work is completely different. In the store, we talk face to face, so we can see the customer's reaction directly. It's also great that we can recommend tastings. If a couple or family comes, we may explain to more than two people, and we also call them into the store ourselves.
I also continue to participate in the head office meetings that I have attended since my days as a communicator. These meetings decide the content of the newsletter "Mitsubachi Tsushin" that is regularly delivered to customers, and I participate online in the meetings held once a week at the head office. As a representative of the field staff, I share customer feedback so that the newsletter will be a useful source of information for those who read it.
