The Suizenji store is located just 15 minutes by streetcar from Kumamoto Castle, which is in the city center. The garden, where the underground water from Aso springs forth, features a leisurely stroll through the Hall of Ancient Teachings, the Izumi Shrine, the Noh Theater, and the famous scenic spots of the Tōkaidō Fifty-Three Stations, making it a unique garden in "Kumamoto, the City of Water." The area around the store, situated on the approach to the park, is also ideal for selecting Kumamoto souvenirs such as the popular Ikinari Dango, Karashi Renkon, and Taiheiyen, which originated here.
