On May 13, 2023, the first ASO VOLCANO TRAIL was held successfully in Aso, Kumamoto Prefecture.

SUGI BEE GARDEN also sponsored the event by providing sticks of honey with fruit juice.

This time, 380 people participated, running through the outer rim of Mt. Aso and the grasslands to the 110 km

We headed for our goal, the Prefectural Outdoor Theater Aspecta in Minamiaso Village.

On the day of the race, it rained for 14 hours from the start at 8am, so there were concerns about the health of the athletes.

I was relieved that no one was injured.
