As the rainy season begins nationwide.
SUGI BEE GARDEN has completed honey collection in Kumamoto Prefecture and is now moving to Akita and Hokkaido, starting honey collection at the next nectar source.
At the end of May, a total of 350 boxes of bees were sent from Kumamoto to Akita. (See previous article)
After a long-distance journey of about 1600 km, taking approximately 22 hours, they safely arrived in Akita.
Upon arrival, the beekeepers were relieved to see the bees in good health.

In Akita Prefecture, honey collection activities are carried out until the end of June. The bees are currently buzzing around in Akita's rich nature, busily gathering nectar from the flowers every day.

Around the local beehive, various flowers, including acacia, are in full bloom. In recent years, due to climate change, the blooming period of acacia has been getting earlier each year. Although the filming crew did not make it in time for the peak bloom, they were still able to see the acacia flowers spreading across the area.

Perhaps it had been working hard. The sight of it taking a break was very cute, and it became a small healing scene in nature.

Thanks to the hard work of the beekeeping club members and the bees, we are able to harvest delicious honey again this year!

Freshly harvested honey is attractive for its transparent color and the rich flavor that gently spreads the aroma of flowers. Even honey collected from the same flowers can vary slightly in taste, aroma, and color due to the climate of the year, the blooming of the flowers, and the efforts of the bees.
That is why new honey has a special flavor unique to that year. The charm of new honey lies in the enjoyment of the deliciousness created by nature, which is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Illuminated by the sunlight, its transparency and golden beauty stood out even more. The honey, nurtured by bees and the rich nature, is truly a blessing from nature. I am filled with gratitude for every single drop.

The honey harvesting in Akita Prefecture is almost over.
Beekeeping is easily affected by the weather, but while facing nature, we are also making one last effort to deliver delicious domestic honey to everyone this year.
