This is what a systems engineer at SUGI BEE GARDEN does

■I manage and operate our company's internal systems. For example, I regularly improve the functionality of our mail order order system and add new functions to accompany the launch of new products. When introducing new systems, I coordinate with the departments that will be introducing the systems, and am responsible for schedule management and testing with our business partners, as well as support regarding the introduction.
■As a support desk supporting staff in each department, including the call center, and each store, we handle inquiries about problems with in-house terminals and systems, and inspect and manage the installed servers. For example, the Information Systems Department is also responsible for updating the OS of in-house PCs, and informing the company about security improvements toward ISMS acquisition and managing the progress.

■ "At my previous job, I was engrossed in programming and didn't see the faces of the customers or users. But at this company, I feel rewarded because the systems I've been in charge of have made things more convenient for many employees and customers, and they're happy with them. I'm full of expectations because we'll continue to need more diverse and new systems."
Information Systems Department Manager
■ "I'm in charge of the online shop-related work, and the results of my efforts are immediate, so it's rewarding. The best thing about working in the Information Systems Department is that the more you do something, the more interesting and difficult it becomes. That experience helps me prepare for the next trial."
Information Systems Department Planning Staff

Working hours are 8 hours between 8am and 9pm. In the case of system repairs or construction work that requires the presence of a client company, work may be done after other departments have finished, so working hours may change, but basically there is an early shift from 8am to 5:45pm and a late shift from 9:45am to 7pm. Breaks are not taken all at the same time, but rather at each employee's own time depending on their work schedule.

The head office building is based on the theme of one-floor management, and has a comfortable environment with spacious rooms, high ceilings, and well-equipped desks. There is also a refreshment room separate from the dining area, so you can relax during your lunch break. The office is located on a hill about 20 minutes by car from the center of Kumamoto City, in a pleasant location surrounded by lush greenery. There are no transfers, so we welcome those who want to work in Kumamoto for a long time.
