Nagahama, on the shores of Lake Biwa, Japan's largest lake, is known for being the place where Toyotomi Hideyoshi became a feudal lord with only one castle about 400 years ago and built Nagahama Castle, known as the castle of success. SUGI BEE GARDEN Nagahama Store is located right next to the Kurokabe Glass Museum, the center of Kurokabe Square, where the old streetscape still remains. There are various glasswork and art galleries, a music box museum, a museum, a figure museum, and more in the neighborhood, and in front of our store is Mobishi-ya, a restaurant serving Nagahama's local cuisine, Noppei Udon. There are also facilities where you can experience glasswork and pottery making, making it a town that can be enjoyed by adults and children alike all day long. All of our staff look forward to welcoming you to our store, which is a place where you can easily stop by during your sightseeing trip.
