Kiyomizu SUGI BEE GARDEN is located on the north side of Kiyomizu-dera Temple, down Kiyomizu-zaka, where it branches off into Gojo-zaka, and you will enter a corner of Kyoto that is typical of tourist destinations, with stone-paved roads lined with straw-made souvenir shops. The store is located in this corner, called the Sanneizaka Traditional Building District, which is designated as an Important Traditional Building Preservation District by the government. There is an exhibition corner for beekeeping tools, as well as a take-out cafe that offers honey drinks and honey-flavored soft serve ice cream. Please stop by as a resting place to soothe your tired body after visiting Kiyomizu-dera Temple. All our staff look forward to welcoming you.
