Message from the Manager
The Suizenji Park store is located 15 minutes by tram from Kumamoto Castle in the city center. The garden, where Aso's underground water springs forth, is a garden unique to the "Water City Kumamoto," where you can leisurely stroll around and see the famous sights of Kokin Denju-no-Ma, Izumi Shrine, the Noh Theater, and the Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido. The area around the store, located on the approach to the park's entrance, is also a great place to choose souvenirs from Kumamoto, such as the popular Ikinari Dango, Karashi Renkon, and Taiping Yan, which are the birthplace of the dish.
