Message from the Manager

Kurokawa Onsen is located in Oguni, deep in the Aso Mountains. Many hot spring inns are located along the Tanohara River, the source of the Chikugo River. The babbling of the river and the roar of the forest, and the mist that rolls in in the morning create a fantastic space. After relaxing both body and mind in the hot springs surrounded by such nature, how about some sweet, healthy honey? We introduce drinks containing honey, as well as various flower nectars and beehives. Every year on June 26th, 24 unique open-air baths are available for free entry. The Kurokawa Onsen Thanksgiving Festival is held on the first Saturday of October, and bearded men and local people dressed as samurai march along the road that is said to have been used by the Hita lord during his alternate attendance in the Edo period. Why not come to Kurokawa to see the various events and the nature of the four seasons? Our staff is waiting for you with cheerful, energetic, and always smiling service.
