Arashiyama is a must-see when visiting Kyoto. The 155m-long Togetsukyo Bridge spanning the Katsura River is a popular tourist spot in Arashiyama. It is said that the bridge got its name from the comment made by Emperor Kameyama during the Kamakura period when he watched the moon move over the bridge. Depending on the season, the scenery changes with cherry blossoms, autumn leaves, snow, and more, making it a special sight.
