We were selected as the winner of the Kumamoto SDGs Driving Category at the Kumamoto SDGs Award 2022, which recognizes organizations in the prefecture that are taking on cutting-edge initiatives toward the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals).

The Kumamoto SDGs Award 2022 was launched this year with the aim of deepening and improving the quality of SDGs efforts in Kumamoto Prefecture. The selection committee evaluates the universality, comprehensiveness, collaboration, integration, and transparency of the SDGs activities undertaken by each organization through written review and presentations. This time, our beekeeping activities in the Republic of Vanuatu, which we introduced here, were recognized and we were able to win the above award.
