This year, the Kumamoto Prefecture Beekeeping Association distributed trees.

I received three types: Sakaki, Soyogo, and Gonoshima.

These trees are an important source of nectar for honeybees.

By planting different species of trees close together, we can stagger the flowering periods and provide an intermittent source of nectar for the bees.

We planted the trees with great care, hoping to harvest delicious honey again this year.
